A useful distinction
“Improve the neighbourhood” expresses an aspiration but leaves the work undefined. A bounded plan identifies a particular activity, timeframe and responsibility. This makes it easier to discuss feasibility without suggesting that one project will solve every related issue.
Put it into practice
For a fictional reading event, list preparation, venue arrangements and the event itself. Mark what the proposal does not yet cover and what requires confirmation. Review the scope with those responsible before describing it publicly as an available service.
