A useful distinction
A project can need organising, writing, translation or practical support as well as money. Describing only financial contributions can obscure the work already being offered. Participation should remain a choice rather than an assumed obligation attached to someone’s skill.
Put it into practice
List the actual tasks and ask people what they are willing and able to offer. Agree on scope and timing before recording a commitment. A volunteer’s offer of one afternoon should not silently become indefinite availability or authority to use their name in publicity.
